Gypsy CaraVanner's 2013 Contest

Gypsy CaraVanners is holding a contest in honor of our 2 stallions, Jenn’s Blue Eyed Stallion & Westmoreland’s Anubis, being offered for the 1st time publicly in 2014 & to see who can guess the newest edition to our herd!

3 Prizes will be awarded:

  • Grand Prize: 1 Stud Fee to a Gypsy CaraVanners Stallion of your choice, to your favorite Gypsy Mare!

  • DNA Prize: $500 Gift Certificate towards a Gypsy CaraVanner’s Stud Service or Horse Purchase!

  • Bonus Prize: $500 Gift Certificate towards a Gypsy CaraVanner’s Stud Service or Horse Purchase!

GRAND PRIZE QUESTION:

Guess the correct sex, color, markings, & age (rounded in 1 year increments) of our new Gypsy.


DNA QUESTION:

The horse has been color tested for 3 traits. Which color trait were we looking for? We will have a full color & pattern panel run on the horse. What color or pattern will we find out about that we didn’t know about, if any?


BONUS QUESTION:

Who is our newest Gypsy?

RULES:

  • LIKE our new Facebook page (if you've already Liked us, you already qualify) at http://www.facebook.com/gypsycaravannershorses & email your response to gypsyvanners@live.com with the words “2013 Gypsy Contest” in the subject.
  • 1 entry per person.
  • Entries must be received by Midnight of the 2013 Winter Equinox (Sept. 22, 2013).
  • Winners will be announced the day after Jenn’s Blue Eyed Stallion & VV Clio have their foal (Due Halloween 2013).
  • If there are multiple winners in each category, each person will be notified & asked to submit short answers to the questions, ‘What is your favorite thing about a Gypsy?’ & ‘Why you think you are the best candidate to receive the prize?’. Whoever has the best responses wins the prize of that category.
  • Discussions on the thread are permitted, but you must send your ‘official’ response to our email after 'Liking' our page.
  • Prizes have no cash value.
  • Prizes are not transferable.
  • The hand ful of people who know who the horse is, are ineligible for the contest.
